North Dental Studio of Waterloo, Ontario was launched by Dr. Sukhjit Singh with an eye towards creating an appealing space that would stand out in the market with minimal aesthetic, comfortable furnishings and live plants.
Location was chosen based on its proximity to one of Canada’s fastest growing cities as well as Waterloo University where many patients attend the dental clinic.
On the ground floor of a mixed-used building, this 1,860-square-foot clinic houses seven treatment rooms, as well as consultation, panoramic X-ray room, sterilization area and offices.
Interior Design Features
Prop Architecture (Toronto) designed a soothing atmosphere using warm walnut textures and deep forest green hues for its interior design scheme that’s meant to put both patients and staff at ease.
The waiting area features plush seating, artwork and decor that complement each other, and live greenery to provide the utmost in comfort for its customers.
Treatment rooms are tailored to promote relaxation and comfort. Ergonomic, stylish dental chairs feature built-in television screens so patients can watch their favorite show during their appointment.
Designers selected a glass enclosure for the tool sterilization center to give an air of openness and spaciousness while allowing natural light to enter via its corridor, creating an illuminated clinic environment.
