Healthcare Design is pleased to present the 2024 Healthcare Design Product Innovation Awards. This annual program recognizes product manufacturers that offer innovative and unique healthcare design products. All participating companies will be honored in Healthcare Design’s May issue; some may receive extra coverage.

Who Can Submit? Manufacturers of healthcare design products – such as furniture, lighting, technology, flooring surfaces and other decorative pieces used within healthcare facilities are eligible to submit entries.
Do I incur a cost for entering my product(s), and what are my options if I want to submit multiple products?
Each submission costs $890, but each additional one costs $500; this fee covers costs associated with:
* Entry in the 2024 Product Innovation Awards
* A 1/6 page advertisement featuring your product or service in Healthcare Design’s May issue in May 2024 (which will include one image, 50 words of promotional copy and company phone number/website details.).
What are the submission requirements? Participants will be provided a PowerPoint template and instructions to prepare their presentations. Each entry should include images, product details and responses to any of the jury’s queries regarding why it is innovative.
Do products need to be brand new or prototypes eligible?
Products introduced into the healthcare industry within three years (March 2021 to present) are eligible. Prototypes or non-currently sold items do not qualify.
How Can A Product Win An Award? Jurors appointed by Healthcare Design will evaluate submitted products to select top scoring submissions as our finalists. Evaluated factors will include innovation and contribution to designing healthcare environments – including increased safety, improved patient comfort, reduced installation/maintenance costs, environmental sustainability and products which solve specific challenges creatively or uniquely valuable to healthcare environments as well as aesthetics, style and functionality considerations. Of these finalists, three products will be named Gold, Silver or Bronze winners who will each be honored with full page mention in our Product Innovation Awards section of Healthcare Design’s May 2024 issue.
Who Will Sit on the Jury? Healthcare Design will assemble a distinguished jury from across various industry fields, such as architects, interior designers, healthcare providers, facility managers and consultants.
What if my product doesn’t win an award?
All participants will receive a 1/6-page ad designed by us in Healthcare Design magazine’s May 2024 Product Gallery issue. These must match those submitted for competition; cancellations cannot be accepted once presentations have been sent to the jury.
